TALKING POINTS :
1- Trump’s Swamp knows no bounds. Now he’s nominated Brett Talley on the bench as a Federal judge in Alabama. Tally has been unanimously rated “not qualified” by the American Bar Association. He’s a blogger who’s been a lawyer for three years, has never argued a motion or tried a case. He’s exhibited extreme partisan preferences, talking about “Hillary Rotten Clinton” and expressing support for the NRA. He did not disclose that his wife presents a potential conflict, even though she is one of Trump's lawyers. This Senate committee confirmed him on a party line vote. We will ask how this happened and what our MOCs are doing to stop his nomination on the Senate floor and what they are doing to stop these egregious, unqualified nominees.
2- Russia and Putin: Trump continues to disavow the election tampering, evoking strong condemnation from former intelligence officers that his attitude towards the confirmed tampering puts the US at risk globally. What’s been done to counter his clear allegiance to Russian influence over American interests?
3- We need a clean Dream Act now. Time is running out!
