Day of Resistance - Oppose the Trump Agenda

How are grassroots community organizations effected by the Trump Agenda? How are they resisting? Come to the Festival of Resistance Against the Trump Agenda on Monday, March 13th. More than 20 community organizations will participate with tabling, mini-workshops, panels and a speak-out at noon. Connect and be part of building the resistance!

Campus Center

  • 9:30-2:00 /  Information tables, games, displays by participating organizations*
  • 9:30-noon / Mini-workshops and discussions beginning on the half hour
  • noon-1:30 / Speak-out featuring spokespeople from participating organizations

  • 1:00-2:00 / Workshop on the Boycott-Divest-Sanctions (BDS) Movement; sponsored by UH-Solidarity for Justice in Palestine

ACCESS Lounge, George Hall

  • 2:00-3:00 /  Militarism and Resistance in the Pacific.  Speakers: Kenneth Gofigan Kuper (Moana Rising), Kyle Kajihiro (Hawai‘i Peace & Justice), and Pete Doktor (Hawai‘i Okinawa Alliance)
