Hawaii's National Guard Must Not be Deployed to Implement Trump's Anti-Immigrant Policies
On 6/19 Hawai‘i J20 spoke with Governor Ige's office and was told that: the Hawai‘i National Guard troops are currently deployed to the Big Island (volcano), Kauai (flood damage) and the Middle East (blood for oil). Right now, there is no plan to deploy to the US-Mexico border to enforce Trump's torturous family separation policy - but it 'not off the table'. (MORE)
At least 8 states are pulling National Guard troops from the US-Mexico border in protest over Trump's family separation policy.
SCRIPT : Dear Governor Ige, I am horrified by Trump's brutal anti-immigrant policies. You must reject any request to deploy Hawai‘i National Guard troops to the US-Mexico border to enforce them!! Eight other States so far have already refused to enforce Trump's Family Separation policies and Hawai‘i must do it too!
